Every month I will feature some of my favourite sweet recipes. All of the recipes featured here are tried and true, delicious and absolutely irresistable! This month I am featuring my Chocolate Fudge Cake with Chocolate Fudge Frosting.

This cake mixes easily and can be made from start to finish in only a few hours. I use the chocolate fudge cake for whenever I need a chocolate cake with a strong chocolate flavour. I've used it for birthday cakes, snacking cake and even for wedding cakes! Most recently, I created this chocolate fudge cake for a theatre performance where the cake was actually eaten on stage.

Another interesting fact about this cake, for those of you that have dietary concerns, is that it is vegan, but you would never know if you tasted it and I didn't tell you so. I also give suggestions for making the chocolate fudge frosting vegan friendly as well.

This is a very versatile chocolate cake and I am pleased to share it with you.
